Everybody has a favorite sex posistion, unless you're just one of those people who doesn't care what position you're in as long as you're in. There has been study after study on what posistion people like most but AskMen decided to take things a step further with their own study. Using Google AdWords and an existing list of standard sex positions, their team discovered the most-searched for sex positions by state. The results are worthy of sharing, to say the least. Here’s what we learned.
Missonary All Around
The classic position comes in at number one for 29 states (nearly 60 percent of the country), according to the study. For good reason: This position puts the submissive person in control and allows for intense G-spot stimulation.
Doggy Style Comes In Second As a Crowd Favorite
It’s all about that rear-end view for 18 states. Doggy style is a tried-and-true position—we can't find a lot of reasons to disagree with that.
Washington D.C. GETS DOWN
D.C. is definitely not its own state, but it may as well be, according to the study. They have about 100,000 more residents than Wyoming and harbor a diverse population. And get this: Our country’s capitol yields four times the amount of searches for sex positions than the national average. We can only wonder what our politicians are getting up to.
Indiana Is a Lot More Exciting Than It Looks
Indiana is the only state that claims good ol’ 69 as their favorite sex position. Maybe Midwest is best after all?
New Jersey and Massachusetts Surprised Us
Apparently, a select few folks along the East Coast like to sit on people’s faces. Time to head up north. No wonder they didn't mind being snowed in last week.
Missouri Thinks Outside Of the Box
Missouri also breaks from the norm. Their favorite position is something called the crisscross. Never heard of it? Don’t knock it ‘til you try it.
