Picture it, Sicily 2002. Back when porn was about the music...and fucking on top of jeeps in timbs. The first time I saw Off Da Hook 2, it was on a VHS and I loved every fucking minute of it. I grew up in East Bubblefuck, Nowhere so the only exposure I had to any gay anything was the Men On Film Skits from In Living Color. I didn't know any black gay men, I don't have to tell you there was little to no representation in the media, and gay was not something you talked about at dinner. The only porn I had viewed were on freegayclips and they were almost never black and if it was a black porn it was from when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Seeing ODH2 was a complete culture shock. I had no clue that there was such a beautiful variety of gay men of color, that were my age and that looked like guys from around the way.
Now this is not some porn masterpiece but it is a classic. It spawned what should have ended the next generation of "thug porn" but we're not complaining. Its just porn.
